BPL Health Management Solutions in view of increasing its market presence is planning the strategy by launching a novel range of point of care, mercury free devices. The company in ally with Welch Allyn Inc will be marketing these products. They also have a strategy to penetrate into emerging markets along with increasing distribution networks in India.
The current trend in the global heathcare market indicates that a effective point-of-care is the correct channel to decrease the costs and also make clinical decision support systems accessible at a faster pace.
"We are looking at maximizing the advantage of cloud computing infrastructure for better human-machine interface to facilitate delivery of services with proven outcomes. With these efforts, we expect to clock a 40 per cent growth this fiscal and plan to touch Rs 115 crore as against Rs 80 crore in 2009-10," said Vijay Simha, COO and vice president, BPL Health Management Solutions.
There will also be new products in therapeutic and diagnostic products for the international market.
For the future, products to ease health screening would be developed and BPL is keen to collaborate with a number of companies to evolve appropriate and cost effective solutions, stated Simha.
