Dosage
Diosmin can be prescribed as a combined therapy with Hesperidin.
For the treatment of internal hemorrhoids (Adults):
Consider administration of 1350 mg of Diosmin with Hesperidin, two times a day for four days. The dosage can be reduced to 900 mg of Diosmin with Hesperidin twice daily for three days. In certain cases, Diosmin is prescribed as a combined therapy with psyllium.
For prophylaxis of relapsing internal hemorrhoids (Adults):
Consider administration of 450 mg of Diosmin with Hesperidin, twice daily for three months.
For treatment of venous stasis ulcers (Adults):
Consider administration of 900 mg of Diosmin with Hesperidin for two months.
