Dosage

For Alzheimer's Disease (Adults):
Start with an oral initial dose of 5 mg, once daily. The dosage can be titrated with increments of 5 mg per week. Maintenance dose of 5 mg Memantine hydrochloride, once daily (up to 10 mg), twice daily can be considered, if needed. The maximum daily dose should not exceed more than 20 mg/day.
